After submitting the Application Form you will be instructed to email your artwork examples to email@example.com.
Here are the questions in the Application Form, and the maximum length permitted for your responses. It is recommended that you develop your responses in advance and then copy-and-paste them into the online Application Form when you are ready to submit (rather than writing your submission content right in the online form).

1. WHEN do you want to have an exhibition?
What are your preferred dates on the gallery’s calendar? We may not be able to give you your first choice so please let us know some options.
2. WHO is involved in your exhibition?
Is this a solo exhibition of your work, a group exhibition that includes your work, an exhibition you are curating, or an ongoing performance that requires three weeks in the space? (250 characters or fewer)
3. WHAT should we know about you/them?
We don’t care as much about CVs and resumes as we do about your narrative description of who you/they are and the significance of your/their work. (500 characters or fewer)
4. WHAT would you like to do at The Carrack?
Tell us about your dream for the space. (1500 characters or fewer)
5. HOW do you plan to do it?
Tell us about the logistics of making your dream happen. This part is less about where you’ll put the nail or place the pedestal and more about helping us understand any obstacles you anticipate and how you’ll overcome them. We also want to know about your marketing plans to get people to The Carrack to see your work. (1500 characters or fewer)
6. WHY is your work important?
How does your work impact the world? What does it do or say? Why is this important now? (500 characters or fewer)
7. WHY does your work need to be shown HERE at The Carrack?
What will The Carrack’s mission, model, location, or physical space offer to your work? How does your work, exhibition, or method align with The Carrack’s mission? How will this exhibition be different from other exhibitions of your work? What else should we know? (750 characters or fewer)
8. WHAT events do you plan to have?
We require our artists to have a public artists’ talk and a reception. We STRONGLY encourage you to think about hosting or coordinating exciting events/programming that will bring folks into the space to see your work and have an experience! (750 characters or fewer)
9. SHOW US some examples.
We do not require that all of the work you plan to show at The Carrack be completed at the time of your application, but we do need to see examples of original work that relate to your proposal. You may share these with us in one of the following ways:
