To accompany their exhibit at the Carrack, artists Annie Blazejack & Geddes Levenson are hosting a reading of Stanislaw Lem’s 1961 novel, Solaris.
Solaris is a sci-fi story about human beings trying to understand and communicate with a sentient alien ocean on a distant planet. Annie & Geddes have created an abridged version, picking out the parts of the novel that speak most to their own artworks.
Seeking readers! Do you like to read aloud? In exchange for reading aloud from the book for 20-30 minutes, Annie and Geddes will give you a cyanotype print on cotton fabric, about 8″ x 10.”
