Bright Soft Shield is new work by Celia Gray, combining contemporary abstract painting and the traditional folk tradition of rug hooking.  The work is big, bright and meandering.

About Jennifer Curtis

Violinist Jennifer Curtis is an improviser, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.  She has collaborated with musical shaman of the Andes, improvised for live radio from the interior of the Amazon jungle, and taught and collaborated with Kurdish refugees in Turkey.

Jennifer navigates with personality and truth in every piece she performs. Her second solo concert in Carnegie Hall was described by the New York Times as “one of the gutsiest and most individual recital programs,” and she was celebrated as “an artist of keen intelligence and taste, well worth watching out for.”

We will reopen on Friday, November 25 at 6:00 pm for the reception and have extended gallery hours over the weekend, on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.
