All artists and art-loving community members are welcome! Come share space, meet other artists, exchange ideas, make some art and posters, share food and connect. The Carrack will be an empty gallery space where we will have the ability to create new work and brainstorm ideas. Starting at 3pm come join us in collective conversation and connection. We’ll end the evening with a potluck gathering that will go until at least 8pm, possibly later. Come for all or part of the time and invite your friends and fellow artists!
Please note that before the event begins at 3pm, Durham photographer Derrick Beasley will take professional photographs of artwork for four artists, who need to sign up ahead of time. More info below.

3-6pm: Make art together and connect
6-8pm: Potluck and more art making/connecting
If you’re planning on attending the potluck from 6-8p, please bring something to contribute, based on these guidelines:
We will provide a main dinner dish as well as a vegan main dish option plus utensils, plates, cups and napkins.
Please bring any art supplies that you want to use and/or share with others. If you have art supplies you’d like to donate to the event but you can’t attend, please email Laura Ritchie at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Derrick Beasley is offering 30 min slots to 4 artists between 1pm and 3pm on Saturday July 13. Each artist can bring three pieces of art that they want professionally photographed and Derrick will provide 9 edited, hi res photographs. Cost is $50 per artist. To sign up and reserve your spot, email email@example.com. Payment is required ahead of time to secure your spot to Derrick either via Cash App to $beasleycashapp or via Paypal using firstname.lastname@example.org.
